Welcome to the heartland of America!  The Indiana Rocket Society (Section #711) is pleased to announce that the National Association of Rocketry 2023 National Sport Launch – East will be held Friday, November 10th through Sunday, November 12th, 2023, at the Pence High Power Launch Field near Pence, Indiana off County Road North 1000 West in Warren County.  The field will be open for flying from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.

The launch field, located at 40d 23m 18.06s North and 87d 30m 38.74s West, has an altitude of 709 feet above MSL and is P impulse capable.  Indiana Rocketry has a waiver from the Federal Aviation Administration for 17,999 feet MSL.  This waiver and more than six square miles of recovery area will allow flyers to launch very large rockets to extreme altitudes.  L3CC members will be available for certification flights.

Join us for a launch that you will be sure to remember, complete with prize raffles, onsite rocketry vendors, food vendors, and fun for the whole family!  Bring a blanket or lawn chairs to sit on.  Children under 18 years old can fly rockets (bring your own) for free.  Nearby hotels are located in Danville, IL, just 20 miles away.

NSL East-2023 Flight Cards Are Available Here.
