NARAM-62*

NARAM-62* Will be held at the MARS Club launch site at the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo NY. The field is a very large former flood plain of the Genesee River. With an FAA waiver of 12,000 AGL MARS can support up to N impulse rockets. Launches are held in a very large mowed grass area surrounded by crop lands. There are few trees and the terrain is dead flat. NARAM was founded on rocket competition. Participants of all ages compete in set events involving altitude, flight duration, payloads, and more. There are local qualification launches held throughout the year. But each year there is one contest to rule them all- NARAM. And this year is the 62nd NARAM. The NAR also supports all aspects of safe consumer sport rocket flying- from small model rockets with youth groups to serious adult hobbyists launching very large high power rockets.
