vNARCON—Attendee Information

For the best user experience, use Google Chrome.
This is not similar to a Zoom meeting!

I purchased a ticket to vNARCON and am wondering what happens next?

  •  You received an email from Accelevents with a subject line, “Order Confirmation for NARCON 2023.” On the day of the event, click the, “Join The Event” button within that email. The software should log into the Accelevents website, if not, just enter your email and password you used to set up your account.
  • Prior to the day of the event—Be sure to create a schedule of your sessions. Find the Accelevents email with the “Join the Event” button and select it.  The event is not yet live but use the Login in the upper RH corner to enter the site.  Once in, select the “Agenda” tab that appears on front page. Under Agenda, sessions are available to you are designated as “Bookmark.”  When a Bookmark is selected it will become “Attending.”  You can view available sessions by using the  dropdown menu at the RH edge of the page that shows “All Dates” and each of the days in a list. You can select any one day to view the available sessions for that day OR view all sessions for the entire event.
  • You can make changes to your list of scheduled sessions at any time. Select the “My Sessions” button to see what sessions you selected. To drop a session, simply click on the “Attending” button and the session will no longer show in your schedule. Then reselect “All Sessions” or a specific day using the date drop down menu to find and add a different session. You can even change sessions in the middle of watching a session using the aforementioned process.
  • On the day of the event (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), the link will take you to the Virtual NARCON Main Page, or Lobby. It looks something like this:

The event is live Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only! The URL for this page is: https://www.accelevents.com/e/NARCON2023/portal

  • Remember, the Lobby is your access point to all activities.
  • From the Lobby, you can access the Main Stage as well as all the sessions. Sessions begin at the top of the hour.
  • The, “Stage,” is where you find Tours, Keynotes, Social events, and the Town Hall.  When nothing is going on within the, “Sessions,” there is something going on at the, “Stage” and vice versa.
  • When a session ends, you will be brought back to the Main Page. You can then move to the next session. If something goes wrong, simply log back in here  to reconnect.

Once vNARCON Goes Live/ Additional Notes
  • The Lobby is your access point to all your activities and is located here.
  • Within the, “Sessions,” tab. Look for the left and right arrows for each time slot.
  • All sessions are set for 55 minutes with a 5-10 minute Q&A .
  • Sessions can go long and not interfere with another session.
  • The, “Lounge,” tab allows rocket enthusiasts access to four unique lounges in which to congregate and visit with one another. There are no designated topics for the lounges. Pick one and yak.
  • The, “People” tab is another handy way to connect with fellow attendees. Under an attendee’s Photo, select the “Connect” button if you want to create a video connection with another attendee. Select the “Talk” bubble button to open up a chat window with that person on the right-hand side of the screen.
  •  If your page doesn’t seem to be showing current information, hit the refresh button.
  • If something goes wrong, simply log back in here  to reconnect.
