New England Sci-Tech (NEST) is host to the Sci-Tech Rocketeers, a model rocketry club where kids and adults of all ages can learn to design, build, and fly model rockets. The club is open to adult members, as well as children ages 12 up. Younger children may participate with parent supervision or when enrolled in a workshop where rocketry is taught as an activity.Launches
Launches are typically scheduled on weekends about once a month at a ball field in a nearby town. The CMASS club has graciously allowed us to join in some of their launches. (We are still negotiating with Natick for use of a field.) Check our website for a list of current launch dates.HPR
We are not currently planning to do high power rocketry.Meetings
