NYPOWER is the North East’s Premier rocketry event and is most likely the oldest regional rocket festival. Run annually by MARS Club since 1991 at The Legendary flying field of the National Warplane Museum, in Beautiful Geneseo, NY.
The site is a square mile of MOWED Grass surrounded by Miles of Flat, Wide Open farm land with NO rocket eating trees. NYPOWER will feature 20 low power pads with 1/8 and 3/16 rods, mini-rails and 1010 rails for larger “models”. The High power range Featuring a Split bank (left and right) will consist of 15 pads on each side for a total 30 pads up to “K” impulse. 2 Huge HP pads and a mobile hydraulic launch tower named (the Beast) for Flights up to “N” impulse. A Standing FAA Waiver of 12,000 will be in effect for NYPOWER.
