Sport launches are held on the third Saturday of every month, weather permitting. Anyone who wants to fly is welcome. Launches are open to the public, but schedule varies by month. Check the calendar on www.narhams.org for specific times. Launch controller and pads are provided for low power flights off 1/8″ and 3/16″ rods. Mid power equipment is occasionally available, so if you need 1/4″ or larger, consider bringing your own pad. Site is currently limited to G impulse.
An NRC Events launch is being held in conjunction with the regular NARHAMS September Sport launch. Contestants must provide their own altimeters, eggs and payload if flying events needing them.
