Annual NAR convention, being held at the Crowne Plaza Dulles Airport in Herndon, VA, just 5 miles from the Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy Center Museum. Includes aerospace company tours Friday afternoon; an R&D competition with $1000 cash prizes (no NAR points) Friday evening; 28 breakout groups on many aspects of rocketry and professional spaceflight Saturday; dinner speech by Lee Piester Saturday evening; and tours of Udvar-Hazy on Sunday. Registration is $25 (TARC team students free). Deadline for hotel reservations at the NARCON rate is February 1, deadline for banquet reservations is February 16.
