Contest Rules: Contestants must have an FAI license (from any NAC). NAR MEMBERS MAY PARTICIPATE.

Entry Fee: $40, payable at registration.

Flying Site: National Model Aviation Museum AMA Flying Site #1. Toilet facilities are available on site. Water and lunch will be available for purchase on site.

Hotel: Courtyard Muncie at Horizon Convention Center. A block of rooms has been reserved at a discounted rate of $149 for Friday September 2 through Monday September 5, 2022. In order to get the discounted rate, you must reserve by AUGUST 3, 2022.

Notes:
Email the Contest Director if you are interested in attending, and in what events and age group you will be competing. Registration closes September 1, 2022.

Motors will be provided to contestants at the meet for S3A, S4A, S6A, S9A and S8E/P. Events S3A, S4A, S6A, and S9A will be flown with 1/2A motors ONLY. The motors provided will be: 1/2A3-4t, 1/2A3-2t, and E6.

Muncie is located 1.5 hr from Indianapolis International Airport, 2.5 hr from Columbus International Airport, 3.5 hr from Detroit International Airport and 4 hr from Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

Motors for S2/P and must be NAR contest certified and must contain no more than 30gm of propellant. If you need to ship motors, please ship them to the Contest Director.

Adrel altimeters are required for S2/P and will be available for rental for free with a $80 deposit refundable upon return.

Please note the new FAI rule for S3, S6 and S9 that states recovery plugs must stay with the model or it will be disqualified. Floating head pistons are no longer legal as well.
