Two Boston-area sections–the JP Rocketeers and NE Sci-Tech Rocketeers–will be teaming up to provide an introductory launch for newcomers to model rocketry. We plan to launch a variety of Class 1 rockets, of various sizes and design, using different recovery systems, in order to give attendants a sense of the breadth of model rocketry. Between launches, there will be time for Q&A. This is an informal introduction to model rocketry. Members of the public are welcome to bring their own rockets to launch, with the understanding that the focus of this launch is to explain various aspects of the hobby to newcomers. There will be no high power pad.
