Mountaineer NRC Launch will be held on Thurs., Jun. 4 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Louis Bennett Airfield in Jackson‘s Mill, WV. This event is being hosted by our family with limited equipment. The field has limitations, so only low power rockets should be flown. Restrooms are available on site. Please contact me if you plan to attend.

KRAMO will be a NAR sanctioned, National Rocketry Competition (NRC) event. Any of this year‘s NRC events may be flown and the results of those flights will be submitted to the National Scoreboard. See National Rocketry Competition for more information.
The KRAMO contest this year will consist of mostly fun non-sactioned events, but sactioned NRC events can be flown as well. Awards will be presented for each KRAMO event as well as an overall meet champion award.
KRAMO 46 is planned as a one day only event. It is planned for Saturday, June 6th, 2026. However, if the weather does not appear to be good that day, the event could be moved to the following day, Sunday, June 7th. Watch the web site or Facebook for any scheduling changes.
Sport flying of Class 1 rockets that can reasonably be recovered in the launch area will also be allowed throughout the event.

ROC serves the Southern California region with monthly high power launches at Lucerne Dry Lake Bed in Lucerne Valley, CA. We are a volunteer run organization that is NAR Section #538, TRA Prefecture #48.
Our monthly launches usually occur on the 2nd Saturday of the month, conditions permitting. Our FAA waiver is to 7,000‘ AGL.

We run a “Misfire Alley” range, so please bring your own pad and launch system.
This field does not support high power models; we fly only model rockets with an F engine maximum. Lower impulse limits may be imposed depending on wind conditions.

NOVAAR flies competition and sport model rockets and high-power rockets. Rockets with a motor impulse greater than J are not allowed. Sparky motors are not allowed. Maximum 3000‘ for dual-deploy and 2500‘ for apogee deploy, weather dependent.
If you are not a NOVAAR member, each model rocket launch costs $1, HPR launches are $5 and HPR Cert attempts are $10. Check-in collects the launch fee.
In the event of inclement weather, the decision to cancel or postpone the launch will be posted on our website no later than 7pm the day before the launch.

Setup begins at 8:30 AM, with launches commencing once the range is open and continuing through approximately 3:00 PM.
Launch status is weather and field dependent. Please check the RIMRA website or Facebook page after 6:00 PM on the Friday prior to the launch:

NRC supported. Limited equipment is provided. You need to supply your own launch pad, timing, or altimeter. NARHAMS does provide launch power, satellite launch leads and 1/8" launch pads.
