SLVROC is pleased to announce that we have a new launch site. The October 14th launch will be our first one at the new location. Come help up break it in! FAA waiver for 12k’ AGL is expected 9am to 4pm. Directions to Site: south from Alamosa on highway 285. West on highway 370 / county road 10. South on highway 368. West on county road 12. South on county road 9. Through gate into Southway gravel pit and follow the pit road. Total distance from Alamosa is 16 miles. Drive time from Alamosa is 20 minutes. Free camping the evening prior. Gate open after 5pm. Please email or call a day or more ahead if you intend to camp. No camping or flying charges.
