After consultation and in agreement with Tripoli Motor Testing
and the CAR Motor Certification Committee, NAR Standards and Testing is
changing the labeling requirements for model rocket motor
certification to + or – 10% of the tested average thrust rounded to the
nearest whole number. This will not affect currently certified motors
when they are periodically recertified. This will take effect July 1,
2011.
