NARAM-59 Results

If you have rocketry related items for the Cannon Auction, bring them to the NARAM hotel and let your contest director, Robert Alway, know.

UPDATE – the FAA has just granted us a waiver to 25,000′ MSL for the weekend of July 29 and 30, the sport launch weekend at NARAM 59! click on the ‘Sport Launch’ button above for details!

UPDATE – Tom Ha and his family will be running a ‘Fly It/Take It’ program during the Sport Launch weekend (July 29 until the rockets run out!)  See the Sport Launch tab above for more information, and consider bringing a few rockets to donate!

R & D Contest participants – Remember that your project reports are due to NAR by the end of the day (11:59 PM) on Sunday, July 16th. Click HERE to go to the online submission form. (Please be sure to include your NAR # and division in the submission)

The launch site will be Muskegon County Wastewater treatment facility, at the same site as NARAM-54

Communication:

Bring your FRS Radios! Our public address system is based on the FRS band of walkie-talkies. If you have any FRS radios, bring them along so you cans keep track of the launch announcements from anywhere in the area.

FRS radio channels 6, 7 and 8 are Event staff channels, do not broadcast on these channels.

  • Channel 6: Contest Director
  • Channel 7: Sport Range PA channel
  • Channel 8: Contest Range PA Channel

 

Certifications:

Staff on hand will be able to Certify L1 and L2 flights for both NAR and Tripoli. L3CC and TAP members are planning to be at the launch but it is the L3 candidate’s responsibility to contact your L3CC or TAP member to arrange to have your L3 citification flight properly documented and witnessed.
