WRASP - Windows Rocket Altitude Simulation Program
wRASP is a Windows program that simulates the flight of a rocket in one dimension (one degree-of-freedom). It can be used to get an idea of how high a rocket kit might fly with a particular rocket motor and what the best ejection delay time might be to safely recover your rocket. wRASP is an adaption of the venerable RASP program for DOS that was based on the BASIC program by Harry Stine in 1979 from "Handbook of Model Rocketry".

VCP - Visual Center of Pressure (619Kb)
VCP (Visual Center of Pressure) is a Rocket Center of Pressure/Center of Gravity stability calculator for Windows. Its spreadsheet-style operation permits easy quick looks at what-if tradeoffs when designing rockets, and its graphic display ensures data entry accuracy for all rocket components.

PDA Software - Programs for the Palm Pilot
A suite of three rocket programs is available at this site. pRASP is a port of Harry Stine's RASP (Rocket Altitude Simulation Program) for PDAs running Palm OS. RocketCalc is a set of utility rocketry calculators (parachute, delay, altitude, ejection, wind drift, motor info and static port calculators. CPcalc provides center of pressure calculator for your Palm Pilot. You'll also need the rocket motor database for pRASP and RocketCalc.

Winroc is a free set of model rocketry software programs that run on a PC in the Microsoft Windows environment. Registration required to obtain program.

Team Vatsaas Rocketry's site provides a set of rocketry tools including Transition Calculator (downloadable), Volume Calculator (downloadable), Volume Calculator (web-based), Ogive Calculator (web-based), Flight Simulation Model(downloadable), Club Launch Statistics Generator (downloadable), Descent Rate Calculator for Elliptical-cupped Parachutes, Descent Rate Calculator for round, square, and octoganal parachutes (web-based), and a Measurement Conversion Applet (downloadable).

Matt Stum's Template Widget
A downloadable application which produces allows you to create transitions, fin alignment guides, and miter guides. Template Widget has been tested on Windows 98 and Windows 2000, but is a "use at your own risk" program.
