The Huntsville Area Rocketry Association (HARA) is excited to host NSL 2016, May 28-30 Memorial Day Weekend in Manchester, TN for three days of exhilarating rocket launches and time with friends. The NAR established the National Sport Launch (NSL) as the premier annual sport rocketry event in our nation. Whether you are a veteran rocketeer or just launching your hobby, NSL is a must attend. Here are a few quick links to useful NSL 2016 information:

Registration Info

Come fly with us at NSL 2016. Your registration fees and proceeds from other purchases help our club and our co-hosting clubs to continue offering great launches all season long and to maintain our launch pads and other range equipment. There is no cost for spectators, but everyone please read the NSL Restrictions & Limitations and Fliers Safety Briefing for important information prior to registration. Your registration will indicate that you have read and agreed to follow the guidance.

            • 1 Day: $20 
            • 2 Days: $30
            • 3 Days: $40

To register, pay fees and buy items go to nsl.nar.org. You can also register and pay at the field when you arrive after NSL has started if you prefer, but sign up now to expedite your processing.

Lodging Options

Ambassador Inn

The Ambassador Inn is another regular lodging stable for rocketeers with low rates and is only 11 miles (20 min) from NSL. You have to drive a bit further for dining options.

KOA

The Manchester, Tennessee KOA is among KOA’s highest award winning parks, and is only 7 miles (15 min) from NSL.

Old Stone Fort State Park:

The Old Stone Fort State Park is home to an abundance of activities for guests to enjoy. The main hiking trail follows the wall of Old Stone Fort which was used by the Native Americans as a ceremonial gathering place. It is only 13 miles (20 min) from NSL.
