Results for 2006-2007 RCP Process

The 2006-2007 RCP process concluded as of June 1st 2008 and the results are listed as follows. Appendix "F" in the sporting code states that all proposals must receive a 66% vote in order to become a part of the sporting code. The proposals that did pass become a part of the sporting code as of July 1st 2008 for the new contest year but have no bearing on NARAM-50. I received a total of 147 ballots and some ballots did not vote for all proposals.

RCP #2007-701 Fails with 4.08% FOR [6] AGAINST [141 ]
SUMMARY: Delete the D through G category of Super-Roc Altitude & Duration events.

RCP #2007-702 Passes with 81.5% FOR [ 119] AGAINST [27]
SUMMARY: Add appropriate pink book paragraphs and event classes to permit those events which are currently flown at World Space Modeling Championships under FAI rules to be flown as contest events in the US.

RCP # 2007-703 Passes with 71.42% FOR [105] AGAINST [42]
SUMMARY: Allow the use of "NAR contest approved' altimeters for altitude events.

RCP # 2007-704 Fails with 37.50% FOR [54] AGAINST [90]
SUMMARY: Remove the meet classifications for Regional, Open and Section/Local Meets and just have one that will be called "Meets'.
